Hey guys,

Like I mentioned in the topic, I have to replace the the rack and pinion. My 06 GT is my daily driver, it's all stock and I've put 91K in it. Should I just go w/ the O'reilly "MasterPro" complete assembly that I found online for $180.00 or should I go buy a Motorcraft OE assembly or are there any suggestions? Any and all info would help, as I'm sure most of you (if not all) know more about this stuff than I do.

Strikes me as odd it needs replacement. I have 170,000+ on my 06 GT and it is still tight. Have you checked the price of a Motorcraft at Rockauto? You won't get lifetime warranty on Motorcraft, the local parts houses might. But even with that, you may have to replace more often.
