Ever noticed how the ads to the right side of the page seem to be all
about the things you've been recently searching for

I ain't paranoid or nothin

BUT

It kinda makes me feel a bit uneasy

The ads are based on topics and key words. They are suposed to be like that.

i've seen other ads that are coincidentally for things discussed in the thread. i'm sure that is by design.

still sorta spooky though

I noticed that a few weeks ago, but wasn't sure if it was just coincidence or paranoia?

Right now there are 2 ads for sites I have been on recently. I don't mind, they gotta pay for the site, right?

The topic came up before. I'm pretty sure it's based on the content of the thread more than anything. Either way, small price to pay for free use of this website.

e-mail works the same way, they sell addresses based on what you have searched for or recentely purchased, of course most of it ends up in your spam folder.Google has it all figured out.

My antivirus wouldn't load the page due to the ads on the right. Stated there could be malicious code in the ads which in short translates to cookies being used to track your web activity

Not a huge deal.. but that is why the ads correspond to your searches
