On my 87 GT I just installed a full exhaust system- headers to tips - and now the car does not want to go WOT.
It will allow you to part-throttle it up to about 4,000rpms but once you put the pedal down further than that it tries to die and will if you keep it down.
Things I have done: replaced spark plugs in case one was cracked, replaced o2 sensors since mine were original, replaced TPS sensor and calibrated it correctly.
The car will idle just fine for as long as you want. It will hold rpm up to about 4k at part throttle as if nothing's wrong.
It seems like once you hit WOT, the car just quits.
Any ideas? Thanks in advance.
