having some headlight problems!

alright the harness im using is from an 88 mustang. it worked in my hatchback with no problems, but its not working in my notch. the corner lights work, but the middle part (headlights) dont work, im getting no power from the plugs, everything is plugged up correctly, i have the grounds hooked up, and im pretty sure i have all the wires that go to the starter relay are connected also. any help please

Info on the donor harness? Did you test power leaving the headlight switch? Power entering or leaving the MF switch? The red/yellow wire and it's connector can have issues at the MF switch.

There are differences in the MF switches on air bag and non-air bag cars, which may or may not affect the headlights.

alright the im using a complete harness from a 88 gt vert. shouldnt a be getting power if the corners turn on with the swith? or should i try another switch and just see if headlights will turn on with that? i have these switches laying around

The headlight and parking light circuits are largely divorced. You can have corners without headlights and it can have nothing to do with the headlight switch. I'd rather do testing than parts swapping but that's just me.

What year of stang did the '88 vert harness go into?

first car was a 89 hatchback and then into an 86 notch, both cars were just shells so i swapped everything even the dash from the vert into these cars
