ugh, i hate people who throw on the HID kits and still use non HID housings, so all this bright ass light goes everywhich way and blinds all the motorists on the roads.

for you people i wait till you pass, then get behind you and hit my brights and my center pencil-beam driving lights which are aimed perfectly to hit your rearview mirror. angry? now you know how i feel.

actually yourjust being an ass, ive got HID's and ive NEVER had any problems with "bright ass light that goes everywhich way" and i ride behind friends who have lowerd civics and mustangs and anything... sounds like the people you dislike are those who are unable to aim their headlights or who have set them too high because they do not have a bi-xenon kit with a high and lowbeam...

wah wah wah? Like said above, I drive behind friends all the time in lowered cars and raised cars alike. Never a complaint, only compliments. I've even driven PAST them and gotten compliments. Don't whine about something you obviously don't have first hand dealing with.

It's those damn ricer fake xenon incadescent ebay bulbs that blind the piss out of me.

its called light dispersal. your standard halogen headlamps are not designed to refract that amount of light where it needs to go. aiming them has nothing to do with it, you could point them down 45* and still not have the correct light dispersal pattern as a stock hid housing should.

hell yeah im pissed, i deal with these ****s everyday. you can tell the difference between a standard xenon ricer headlight bulb and a HID kit off the bat, one has a normal dispersal pattern that is really blue, and one is like some ***got is driving through the freeway with his brights on. the normal headlight replacements are half as bright. im sure the people who give you compliments do so because they like the looks and have no idea the science behind it, and theyre your friends, of course theyre not gonna say "Dude your HID piss me the **** off you asshat, turn them off!"

So when I say "do you mind leading the way? I don't wanna blind you or anything." and they go, "no prob. you don't blind me at all." they are just being polite for the 60 minute drive? Wow, some damn good friends I got!

I digress, back on topic, I still don't think you have 1st hand experience with these kits. I agree, the cutoff isn't like that of a housing made for them, but they aren't NEARLY as bad as your exagerating them to be. Here is a shot of mine. I'm about 4ft from the door

Sure it's not this:
