The Fel Pro 9333 head gasket is listed as a suitable replacement for all small block Windsor engines. The compressed thickness is listed at 0.047". I am using it with some 3 bar GT-40 heads on a 351w with ARP studs. Because the 351w takes 1/2" studs with a higher torque spec than the 302 or other SBF, should I expect the gasket to compress slightly more than the listed spec?

Any difference that it might make would be negligible.

Ok. I'm actually kind of hoping it would compress a little more to help with quench and compression ratio.

Might have to get a Dart block but don't want to and if I do, then 363 instead of 331. Thoughts on what I've already bought so far.......
