SoCalCruising nailed it! Got home, jacked her up and cralled under and sure enough, the hole is wide open. Can't believe I missed this when I was sealing up the engine on the stand! Definately putting this into the experience vault for future swaps. I found the other thread on how to plug. I think I will go to my local machine shop and see of they have some type of press fit plug. I really don't want to cut threads now that the engine is in the car. Pretty tight fit under there with long tubes and power steering. Will have to drop the header to get enough access to this spot. So glad StangNet is available to help with stuff like this. My mechanic was convinced it was a head gasket, but i just couldn't see how it could be, so I waited. Glad I did now

I picked up a couple of small freeze plugs form the machine shop, one of them should fit. I am definately going to have to remove the header to access this thing... Should be straight forward, but I guess we'll see.
