head light problems

when i drive fo like 5 min my lights turn of then back on after a while i notice the switch gets hot so i know its the switch but i also notice that my car has a gt light switch wich come with the switch for the fogs
i order a new switch wich is the right one for an lx will these work i dnt have fogs
ohh and the reason the lights turn off is not cuz it has the gt switch it worked fine before

Either the switch aged, or more likely is that you have a wiring issue (i.e., the red/yellow feed wire leaving the switch and going to the MF switch) or you run higher-than-stock wattage bulbs. Other possibilities are less likely.


Inspect the wiring connector at the back of the switch and the wires themselves. Do the same at the MF switch if necessary.
