head stud question

i bought head studs, i bought ARP-154-4005 this kit came with the "t style" washers. I have Twisted wedge heads and just need the regular washers. i looked on trickflows website and they say to use ARP-154-4201 , now the only difference i can see is the washers in these 2 kits and one is a 12 point nut and the other is a hex nut. both say they can be used with the same heads, so i assume they are the same length. i used to have ARP bolts on this motor before but i decided to go with head studs for extra security with the turbo.

can i just reuse the washers that are on my ARP BOLTS, and put them on my ARP head studs? or are the studs longer from one kit to the other? i wouldn't think they are but i thought i would throw this out there.

i think the washers (flat) should be ok. i actually had the opposite problem, and had to go hunting t-washers. i ended up with edelbrocks for my arp studs.

ya i seen you can buy the washers and "t style" separately i assumed that was for people who were switching heads. i just want to make sure there was no difference in the studs. probably are the same though but since i can't put the heads on till its warmer out (block is frozen and there was too much condensation for our liking) i figured i would throw this thread out to see if anyone knew for sure

the only thing t-washers do is let you put heads with 1/2" bolt holes on an engine with 7/16" studs (preferably) or bolts.
