After going to the track a couple times I noticed I would get my best times if I got there early and got to run the car right after getting off the interstate. The engine was warm but not heat soaked.

Yeah, I put down my best time one night, because I had to wait about an hour and a half for a wreck to be cleaned up. Cool engine and intake sure makes a difference!
