header collector type

i am looking around for a set of longtubes

the only headers i have used were always ball socket type

what are those old school gasket three bolt collectors like

anyone like that design better?

I think the only one with that type is blackvert, I have them on my cutouts though They seal really well.

I've kinda been keeping it to myself

so
Don't tell all those other 94-95 guys ......... OK

I gotta believe the ball & socket flows less than the old school collector

I still don't understand why people think the ball/socket flows less....? On my old MAC headers with a 3" collector, the opening on the ball side was 3 1/4"...so I doubt it was a restriction. The ball/socket flows great and doesn't leak.

SOME have issues with those ball socket joints fitting poorly and leak

iv had leaking and non leaking ball socket type
