Header EGR help

Does any one know if capping the EGR tube will throw a check engine light?

i think it may, but it can be turned off w/ a tune (or tuner, like a tweecer, for example).

i'm running fox headers that don't have an egr bung, which is perfect because i deleted my egr and didn't have to worry about capping it.

As long as you leave the valve connected .............
the pcm has no idea about anything else
