Header Question....

I just got my exhaust system, its a Magnaflow Magnapack and I have a Catted X-Pipe on the way. I am not installing the exhaust system till the spring. I want to get new headers as well but I am not sure what brand name headers of is I would get long or short tube headers seeing that I do not know much when it comes to them. Thanks!

hey get the long tube headers. Hooker long tubes are probably the best ones out there. But wait until you get the headers before getting the x-pipe. That way you can buy a matching shorty x pipe from hooker. Later.

If you have the $$ get JBA's. If not, get the MAC long tubes headers.

I have BBK longtubes, and like them just fine. If you decide not to go with the Hookers, than I'd suggest the BBK's over Mac. Better quality.

Tiff, headers are a very opinionated subject on all mustang forums and you will get a bunch of opinions. Take some time and read these and buy which best suit you. I'm personally getting the MAC LT's. Good Luck!

If you've already ordered your X-pipe for shorties, the LTs won't be a bolt-on. You'll have to have some one modify your new cat'd X-pipe.
If emissions aren't a concern, LTs seem to be the way to go. I'm waiting for the BBK shorties, if they ever come out. Shorties seem to be more expensive than LTs too. Like $600.00 for the ceramic coated JBA units.
