i put BBK fox body long tubes on my car. they fit but the passenger side was a real bear. it's practically resting on the strut tower. and also remember that the fox bodies don't have the EGR port so you'd have to delete your EGR to run them.
I also got fox long tubes on my 95 GT, but I had to mod. the clutch fork a little and also pound in the tube about an 1/8 inch on the drivers side to clear the clutch fork. you got 5 speed or Auto? not sure how it will clear the auto.
I've had this same question running through my mind. I really want to use Kooks long tubes on the Cobra, but the smallest primary tube size they make for the '94-'95 cars is 1 7/8". That would be overkill, even considering my plans. They make 1 3/4 and 1 5/8 for foxes, though.
NE1 HERE RUNNING A SINGLETURBO... IM TRYING TO FIND A PREFABRICATED SET OF HEADERS TO BLOT ON... I HAVE BBK LONGTUBE RIGHT NOW.... I AM DEPLOYED FOR 75 MORE DAYS AND WOULD LIKE TO HAVE MY PARTS PURCHASED BEFORE I GET HOME TO MAKE INSTALLATION EASIER... I HAVE A 1995 GT 5.0 WITH THE GT40 HEADS
hmm i had that same problem. dr. gas x-pipe? i had to cut a good 1-2" off the driver's side.
I didn't have a problem with the driver's side at all. it took longer to get the shorties out than to put the long tubes in. i think i have a fox bellhousing and clutch fork so thats probably why.
