ok i installed headers today all went ok intill i noticed that i have 2 porblems one is the pipes have a hard time connecting to the headers seems a little short which doesnt close the gap 100% so it has about 1/2 an inch opening which isnt good but the other side my bolt striped so i have only one side clamped on about 1/2 on the other pipe also its connected to an h pipe. i live in sacramento california and i ask this because i was going to take for smog tomarrow and someone said if i have leaks it will help pass a lot easer. but im thinking this will cause my car not to pass anyone have any ideas or know anything about this? or my problem?

~Im not from Ca, but id imagine that if it leaked then they inpector would fail you on the spot. Try using some of that stuff called " M A N", great stuff, you can get ut at your local gym. Then massage the exhaust until it fits. It wil help if you comletly loosen the entire sytem , shoot some wd-40 into the exhuast hangers, and then tighten each bolt down equally, little bit at a time. As far as the stripped sucker, drill that bitch outa of there and re-tap it. Get yourself a new bolt tnad youll be ready~

jk about the hole M A N thing
