Just wondering what everyone thought was the best long tube header to run on a 1999 GT? If they are worth putting them on, and which brand would you recommend? Right now I have mac pro chamber and mac mufflers, and am also wondering if BBK headers will bolt up to it or not. Thanks.

well i have bbk lts and they're great except for the fact that to remove the tranny you have to jack up the engine and take off the right header. FYI

sorry to hijack this but it might be a question he has too. I have a prochamber that seems to me would be a short prochamber for longtubes and it has extension tube to get to the stock manifolds. Now will any LT header bolt up to it or just the macs. Whats the diffrence in power from MAC LT and BBK LT???

mac and bbk are pretty comparable

if youre not sure with fitment, i would call them up and ask them what applications they work with to be absolutely sure

middle of the road would be bbk and mac. some would prefer bbk over mac due to some people having serious problems with mac lt's

Pypes is coming out with a 400 dollar LT header for our cars, you can look into that one too

IMO, get the BBK.

if you want to shell out more money, look into Bassani, SLP, and Kooks. they may be more money but theyre top notch
