I was putting my headlights into my aftermarket front bumper, and for some reason the driver side doesnt fit right. they are all tilted up for some reason. the passenger side is prefect all 3 lights rest on the bumper like they should. but the driver side fits like shiit. i can't figure out why at all.

Any ideas?

have you tried enlongating the holes in your aftermarket bumper cover so that you have more adjustment for the stock backing plate?

I used washers on a few of the studs in the back of the headlight but that doesnt help to make it fit like it should on the driver side.

I had to use some washers on the stud on the front of the headlight bracket to get the corner lamps to align and tighten properly.

going from left to right --- explanination then symbol

your lens< the shaft of the lens------ which slides thru the 2 washers 00 next is

the bracket for your lights // then another washer is added to the shaft once it

goes thru bracket 0 next is lockwasher o and then your nut to hold everything

into place D.

I was kind of asking the question myself. I really have no idea if the plate is even adjustable. Are all 3 lights at the same angle?

Are all 3 the same angle on the drivers side? You said the passenger side sits on the bomper perfect but the drivers were not. Just trying to determine what needs adjustment.
