I have a 1966 mustang, when i turn on my headlights while driving my amp gauge drops to 12 when it usually runs about 14. If the lights are on for a long period of time while driving it will drain the battery. All other accessories work fine, running lights, radio and stuff, the amp meter stays at 14. any help would be appreciated. thanks

Have you tested the alternator?
