headlights, sidemarkers, weird stuff

K,

the car is a 91 5.0 -- 3 months ago it was involved in a collision (minivan rear ended me and knocked me into an SUV)

it was a light hit. required pulling the radiator support straight and there was a buckle in the drivers side rear quarter.

front bumper , all lights in front, headlight mount had to be replaced.

i'll draw a diagram since i don't really know the terminology

FRONT:
|side||headlight||inside| (grille) |inside||headlight||side|

SETTINGS:
lights off
parking lights on
headlights on

so I guess i have 2 problems:

the sidemarkers come on only for the parking lights / headlights, and they don't blink on any setting, only the inside lights blink. I kinda did a double-take.. like "has it always been like that?"

the other problem is only when headlights are on
the drivers inside light doesn't come on, but comes on for parking light setting.

can anybody help me out with this? hope i was clear and didn't confuse anybody.

I'll have to double check but I don't think the front 'corner' lights flash with the turn signals.

Which light is the 'driver's inside light'?

Good luck.

Correct. The outside corners do not blink. Only the inside ones blink.

check your bulbs and install new ones, especially the cheap blinker bulbs..when one or more goes out it can cause all kinda of weird problems

sounds like the bulb is good if its the same filament as in the parking position and the headlight position. Check your connection at the connector, at the headlight switch, and the hazard switch. I don't have a diagram handy, but I think thats all unless you have an alarm.
