Any suggestions for cylinder heads and carb for an otherwise stock 302. It's currently a 2V, but I picked up a Ford performance intake for a 4V.

Twisted Wedge or AFR 165s for heads. Small runner Canfields are fine, too. Have them shaved to 54cc chambers to get compression up to around 10:1. Carb should be in 525-600cfm range. Holley 570 Street avenger or Demon (Road or Street) in that range would work nice. Edelbrock has a 600cfm, I think, and are easy to work with, but a Holley or Demon will probably make a little more power. While you're in there, you'll want a cam that matches your heads and intake.

He didn't say what intake. The Canfield plug was for you, D.Hearne. I know you love yours.

i like the idea of a match set;however, it tis expesive but probably worth every penny as for the edelbrock carbs they are cheaper but they are cheaper for a reason that reason is that they suck
