Is it just me or are the heated seats (on my 2010 GT) terrible? They barely warm, and definitely don't heat! Is that "normal"?

I don't think so. I drove my 2010 GT when the temp was in the 20's and the seats got so hot I had to turn them off or I would of had a hot *ss.

you may want to get them checked out. They are warm when you first turn them on but after about 5 minutes they get a little too hot. Besides, winter is almost over so soon you will be wishing for A/C seats.

Thanks for the info! I'll have them checked out. I've had (have) other cars with heated seats and they actually get HOT!!

I never thought about needing to heat my seats in the south but I guess that leather can get cold.

I read that heated seats mess up your baby making abilities by making your sperm too hot and kills them off. If true, might be a problem for some of you younger guys. Not a big deal for me at 50 with 7 kids. There were no heated seats 32 years ago when I got my first child, perhaps I should have sat on a hot water bottle or something. LOL

Mine never get very warm. I read somewhere that heated seats don't get very hot because someone sued a few years ago because their butt got burned.
Kind of like the coffee is too hot at McDonalds.

I could have used that "benefit" years ago when I was single and kid-less.

Is there anyone else out there w/ a 2010 that can chime in on the temperature of your seats? From what jocatch says they should get way hotter than what mine are getting...

Mine get hot enough so I can't leave them on for any length of time. I let the seat get really warm then turn it off. It would be nice if they had multiple settings.

I remember one time test driving a new Maxima in the middle of summer and I couldn't find the turn off switch to the heated seats, I began to slowly, but surely roast my bottom...and since I was in the middle of a lot of traffic it made it even worse...no heated seats for me! Just another option that can break and cost money to repair.
