Just got my 4.10's......:hail2:

Dared to be different and went with Summit Racing gears... they are fairly new but they look solid as hell and I have faith in Summit, they are a great company.

Hopefully I can get them installed soon, just need a full bearing set, pinion seal, and trak-lok rebuild kit.

Nay, lol.

I wasnt asking the question, im confident in knowing what needs to be done to "break" them in (next to nothing).
I just had my 4:10's installed last Friday. I asked them If I needed to break them in. The mechanic said he drove it around for about 8 miles and that I should take it easy for a bit. I forgot what he said after my first red light...lol. I been ripping on it since:D

My take on it, alot of people go with FRPP gears and beat on them out of the box.

These arent FRPP and I rather take it easy the first few miles, let them cool once and then just drive like normal with the occasional beating like my normal habits.
