Hello everyone, I just moved to Calgary from the east coast. Currently the stang is in storage but now is the season to work on it. I am wondering if there are any local parts places that you folks would recommend. On the east coast the selection was very limited to say the least and I ordered most of my parts from the states. I was over 5 hours from the boarder so picking it up was not an option. Since I am closer now are there ways to pick parts up on the other side and bring them over so you don’t have to pay the brokerage fees?

Also are there any local mustang clubs?

Thanks

Two shops come to mind in Calgary. WMS Racing and I think there is also a shop called the Mustang shop. Not sure of their adresses but a search on Google will turn it up.

Parts stores.

Beware of WMS they like to lose your blower if you get them to fix it for you, and then when you ask them if its done they give you BS excuses about it not being done then it mysteriously gets lost and you basically have to hunt it down on your own etc. The Mustang Shop is great, Matt tuned my COBRA and AutoThrill is excellent Jesse gets the job done for me! MOPAC is on 16 th ave. I'm not too sure where Bestbuy or whatever its called is. Like I said about WMS, they burnt me once and will nver get another chance to do it again. Oh, and there's Canadian Hi Performance Discount, that one is in Prince George, BC.

Hope it helps, happy spending.

+1 for The Mustang Shop. I have been dealing with them for years now and they always come through. It's a family owned business so they actually give a crap about their customers. Matt and Bruce are awesome, you won't go wrong buying from them.

Western Motorsports has been awesome for me and a bunch of buddies. The "losing the blower thing" is the first bad thing I have ever heard about them. They know their stuff and their customer service is great.

Well unfortunately they sent my P-1 to get resealed and somehow it took 3 months and when I asked where it was they couldn't find it. It ended up being they did this and they didn't label that and I was stuck trying to find my blower myself. I eventually got it back and, well I won't deal with them again. Jesse and Matt will get my business. If they treat ya good keep using them, I just had a really bad experience with em and I won't deal with them.
