Unless you are allergenic to or afraid of EFI, I would recommend an 89-93 model 5.0 Mustang. They are very easy to mod and work on. They incorporate numerous improvements in the brakes, electrical system and engine over the 79-86 model 5.0's. The EFI Mustangs engines are much longer lived than their carbed counterparts because the EFI engines run cleaner and cylinder wear is less because of that.
