1990 Ford exterior color chart (available on EBay) indicates your color is likely “Crystal Blue Clearcoat Metallic” code “MA” being that it was a Mustang color and that the “light” Crystal Blue was for the Probe, Crown Vic, Thunderbird and Taurus.

Hey! Welcome! We’re in the same boat, AND general locale. Metairie here. :-). I just got an all stock ‘86 GT Hatch. Looking forward to seeing what you’re doing! For me, paint is one of the worst things about my car, but I have it shunted to the bottom of the wants list for now. About to get subframes connected, then looking to start on suspension I guess with new shocks/struts myself. This forum has been a godsend with information.

Hey Neighbor, unfortunately this car 90 LX Hatchback was if worse shape that anticipated. while i am tearing down (currently) it appears that i will be doing a complete overhaul on entire car. I willl strip down and start with paint first then build it back. I had seen a 86 GT 4 sale in your area few months back that seemed like a really good price for a driver.
