I am ready to buy a new Fiberglass Cowl Induction Hood(bolt on not pin on) for my 67 coupe. I'm looking for some help on brands and quaility of brands, height of cowl, fit, finish, likes or dislikes. The last Fiberglass Cowl Hood I purchased was for my 1980 Cobra and it was TERRIBLE, and they only stroked me for about $650.00 shipped to me from FiberTrends out of California. The Cowl Scoop on the Hood was about 1 1/2" different in height from side to side the entire length of the scoop. Looked like sh-t but I was stuck with it. If anyone has any info and or pictures of their cars with cowl hoods it would be a great help.

Someone told me about this site. He had one of the scoops. Said it was real nice. Might see if anybody has bought a hood.

I've heard ALOT of bad things about Maier racing hoods. But then you never really hear the good things about them on here either. The carhoods.com hoods look like real quality products, ive been thinking hard about getting one for my 1969 coupe. If i didnt have to wait for that $100 rebate i would have already purchased one.
