I'm thinking about getting a 96-98 Cobra. What should I look for when I go to look at them. Any kind of problems I should be looking for? How may miles do they usually last? What kind of problems do they usually have?
I have 110000 on mine now, still runs great. every vehicle is different though. just do a search. only recall was 96 overheating, should be fixed by now though.
I have a 96 Cobra and the only thing to look for is if it has and problems with the transmission. The T45 is one of the weak links in these cars. Last look at the dif. fluid and make sure it is not burnt.

stevstum is right about the T45. Mine had already been rebuilt when I bought it last year with 46k miles on it. Also just make the normal checks like for rust and smooth body panels. Stay away from wrecks and get a CarFax to confirm.
