Help determing what axles I have **PICS**

I bought a 98 Cobra last month and I have no ABS rings on the rear, rendering my ABS disabled, so I pulled the axles and found that the PO put in 31 spline axles and and removed or didn't install tone rings. My question is how can I get the ABS rings back on or will I have to buy new axles with rings. I have some pics here on my website... spectrum-photo.com/rear/axle.htm
Does the fact it has 31 spline axles mean the rear chunk is now setup for 31s and I can not use 28s anymore, unless I change everything back? I basically just want the ABS working again...

You can get tone ring adapters for your 31 spline axles. When I had my last car swapped all over, the place I ordered my axles from said that they had adapters, so I bought them as well. The shop I had install everything said that the rings might get messed up on removal from the stock axles, but they came off alright and worked great. The only problem for you would be finding some rings, or some stock axles with rings on to remove.

Once the differential itself is swapped out for 31 spline, you have to run 31 spline axles. If you wanted to step back down, you wouldn't be able to just swap the spider gears, you'd have to get a completely different differential. If I were you, I'd just get some of the tone ring adapters and try to find some stock axles with rings at a bone yard or Ebay.
