I need to replace the front wheel bearing assembly on my 97 cobra and I cant seem to find a place that sells the front wheel bearing assembly. If you happen to know a place it would help alot. thanks
They only sell the hub assembly that includes the sealed bearings as a 1 piece part. The bearings can be removed and crossed referenced to just replace the bearing, if you have the old bearing part number on it.
All late model mustangs have preloaded bearings in the hub and are replaced as a hub assembly. You no longer have to replace the bearings and races seperately. Makes for a much easier and faster change.
Replacement hubs are available at just about any auto parts store.
