Hi all I'm new to the forum, well forums in general I have an 89 convertible manual that has been giving me some hell. The guy I got it from did this really cool inner fender well wire tuck mod, ( that was sarcasm). So first I blew the fuseable link for the hegos, ran 2 new wires problem solved. Surging idle went away all was good for 3 days maybe 40 miles, driving in the rain the car died, trailered it home it has no crank no fuel pump and no power windows. Now it has an aeromotive fuel pump, rails and regulator. With my power probe I can power the fuel pump it works fine at the pump. So all the diagrams I have looked at for the fuseable links they dont match to mine. The fat black wire with 4 links and 1 eyelet has or/bk, bl/y, or/lb and then a solid orange wire. The orange wire is the problem it goes straight to ground. So where does this wire go and does it change into any other colors along the way!? Sorry for the long post I'm trying to give as much info as possible. Thanks in advance!
