SO! I am currently in the process of taking my mustang from my Grandpas garage and bringing it to my new house to work on in my new garage! HOWEVER my car wont start. Its an 87 LX 5.0 vert. Here's my description. The car turns over perfectly but doesn't even attempt to fire up. I checked plugs for spark #1 does spark, and after trying to start it multiple times I pulled plug to see if it was flooded...the plug was not completely dry but it wasn't soaked either! I do smell gas inside car when starting it but not under the hood. I started it up in January with no problem. I am currently replacing the carpet so everything is torn out but I don't think I unplugged anything. I'm leaning towards a fuel issue. When it was started in January the gas tank was very low. So thinking it will help I added fuel booster and 5 gallons of fresh gas(currently letting it sit with it while turning it over now and again.)...Can anyone help pinpoint the issue??? I don't wanna just change the fuel pump or the fuel filter just for the hell of it only to find out that wasn't the issue.
