I'm no major auto mechanic. I learn most everything through trial by fire... so I've hooked up my Boost Gauge but no readings. I'm sure I'm in the right place. I need to tap off of my pressure regulator. Isn't that it in the upper right corner of this picture? The module with the green plastic tubing and red plastic tubing connected to it? I may have to pull the gauge out and test it directly in the engine compartment. Crap, I threw away all the product boxes and packing so I can't return the gauge if it's bad.

I believe the fuel pressure regulator is the shiny chrome disk inline on your fuel supply line. I do not see a pic but at work I never do

no, thats the fuel pulse dampner. the FPR is in the pic, silver in color wth the vac line comming out of the center top of it, has 2 bolts that secure it to the fuel rail on the driverside at # 8 cyl

Wow... I have three shiney disk looking things. I have one that is on a vaccum line. (see pic below)

I have another one right above it which seem to also be on a vacuum line but I think is the EGR valve.

And a third shiney disk looking thing that is on the incoming fuel line to my rails. Is this it?

Not these right? I'm hooked up there as you can see...

Okay Randy, you posted while I was processing pics... so you're saying the first pic with the one coming out of the silver thing in the center? I hooked up my BAP to the line that is "T"ed off of that and I originally hooked up my splice to that and nothing. So go back to that line? Should I hook up the gauge directly to see if my gauge is bad?

TIA

fpr is on the fuel rail, the only thing thats connected to it. its black, has ONE hose coming out of its side, and it bolted on by two tiny 6mm bolts which is on a chrome/ polished plate. thats the best i can explain it, it the first pic its almost dead in the middle.

looking again.. urs isnt black, its silver, but its still the same as described in the same location.
