help identify these valve covers

anybody out there know what these valve covers came on or who they were made by ? thanks guys and gals for your help

,an i wish i knew who made them, they are not stock that i can tell you. i would love to have a set of those but every time i come across a set on ebay i always getsniped at the last minute. sorry i couldn't be more help

I think those were made by cal-custom back in the late 60's early 70's.

Did a search on Ebay but the nearest i could find was cal customs without the running pony.

Did you ever figure out what engine they are for? How many bolt holes are there?

You mean you can't tell? They're obviously for small blocks. Nice covers, but I'd prefer them without the pony myself.

yea i figured out they fit the small block ford thats what they came on was a small block 289 that was in a buddies car for years and years he said they were on there when he purchased the car some 15 years ago . just thought maybe someone knew if they where stock on something like mustang 2s or if they where aftermarket and if so who made by .
