Help installing Dyno Mod on Distributer

Yesterday I got a screamin demon ign.system.I put everything on except the dyno mod( goes on dist. ) I cant see what type of screws hold it on,philips head, allen key,,,,,,,?? Does anyone know what type of screw holds the unit on???

The easiest way to go is to buy a cheap tool from an AutoZone type place. The opening is very small and makes is difficult without.

**Yeh I cant see inside,whats the name of the tool???

Sorry...it's just called a "Ford Ignition Module Tool."

You also have to take off the distributor to take the module off.

It's a torx bit that is needed on some and some it's a 5.5 mm socket.

***Just bought one,6 bucks! I installed the dyno mod. I read somewhere this package gives you 9.6 hp.Its got more power,but its weird.It feels real CRISPIER!! If that makes sense. Thanks for all the help I never would have known to ask for that tool..

You don't have to take the distributor off, just turn it.

No problem...they come in handy as just about every Ford for a long time used those TFI modules, and nobody ever has the tool when they need it.
