I have a 2002GT with the mods listed below. I used to chirp 1st to 2nd with no problem. Lately... can't at all. Any idea what gives ?-- I have a hard time believing the colder teperature has anything to do with this.

Thanks in advance.

Do you spin at all? You should be able to break loose even easier in the cold weather.

I was hitting 2nd when my car was bone stock. The car has to spin in 1st at least.

is it just not "chirping" on the shift, or is it not spinning at all? i know my tires don't chirp in the cold weather, they just spin-due to cold pavement & cold tires. but when it warms up they make some noise

That's right -- they spin but no chirp.

Takes away half the fun
