help lost a relay

hiding my wires, lost a relay ? on the passenger side shock tower 91 stang.... no pics but i swept my garage to soon.... it seemed to be a big relay that had two locking tabs on it, it was almost like a cap.... what did i loose.... thanks

Sounds like its the A/C WOT cut-off relay.

Not sure what year the fuel pump relay moved from under the seat, but I know in 93 its in the pass fenderwell as well.

I know in 92 Ford put both the WOT A/C and Fuel relay on the inner passenger side fender, not sure about a 91 though.

The 92-93 models had both the WOT and fuel pump relays mounted under the Mass Air ducting. Some of the last production 91 models may also have the fuel pump relay under the Mass Air duct. If the car is still drivable, it isn't the fuel pump relay.

I have an early (made in Jan) '91 and my A/C relay is by the passenger strut tower, and the fuel pump relay is under the seat.

Typically it was the very last 91 models made just before the switchover to 92 production that got the 92 and later computer harness.
