alright, i just purchased a stock H since i dont have the stock piece. the previous owner of my car had welded in some straight pipes in place of the cats, or so i thought.

here is what mine looks like on my car:

that is the ONLY piece on my midpipe that has the piping replaced. the place where the orignal 2 front cats should be, is just regular piping and nothing has been welded.

and here is what the stock piece looks like that i picked up:

the shaping of my midpipe is a little different too, and also you can see in the picture i posted, the rear o2 sensors are located right before the crossover, unlike the stock pipe

so, what do you think i have on my car?

You'll never need the stock mid-pipe. Who ever buys it if you sell it won't give a rats butt. No mechanic will care, and it's not like a GT is gonna be a collector car that needs all the original stock pieces. Of course this is for places with no emission laws or exhaust police.

Looks like you picked up an '04 H-pipe. They changed the design of the cats and moved the O2 bungs for emissions laws (I think). If you ever want to use it, you will just need to pick up some O2 extenders.

Just buy some O2 extensions from mustangtuning or wherever and you should be fine.

ok, my midpipe on my car right now doesnt look like your stock one. the cats closest to the manifolds arent there, and the ones farther back look to have been replaced by a weld in straight pipes. the rear o2 sensors are RIGHT before the H crossover.

so what i'm trying to figure out is exactuly what mid pipe i have on my car

I'm sorry. I thought you were asking about the H you picked up.

Do you have any more pictures of your mid-pipe? It's a little hard to tell from that angle.

you can see where the o2's go in at

this is where it bolts to the manifolds
