I am about to purchase a '97 cobra with a clear title, no engine, no tranny and I'm taking the front clip and rear end.

It has subframe connectors, battle boxes, some type of upgraded rear suspension and a genuine Saleen SR (huge biplane) spoiler. The body is straight accept for the front clip that I'm keeping and the drivers side door. which may need a new skin.

It's cheap, it has a lot of the parts I want for my car and it will help me get my cobra cosmetically fixed.

If you are in California, between Los Angeles and Oakland and you need parts from the car, send me a PM, list what you want and what you want to pay. I'll add up the orders and see if I can make this deal work. If this works, I will deliver small parts anywhere close to the 5 freeway between Los Angeles and San Jose (50 miles south of San Fransisco). If you want the chassis, you will have to arrange for shipping.

I'm sorry about posting a "for sale" thread, but it's really all about making my mustang whole again.

I bought my mustang really cheap because it was in a low speed accident that crunched the radiator support and one of the fender aprons a little bit. Professional repair estimates were about $3000, so I bought it for a song (with 3.95 financing too). I can fix it myself and get a nice paint job for $2500. It's a little bit investment and it will be a really fun toy.

I have been biding my time waiting for good deals on parts and saving money so that I don't end up with an empty bank account and an unfinished car.

I am probably going to use the hood, because mine is cracked in one corner and it will be easier to fit my new Roush intake under the Cobra R hood this '97 has. But the hood may be up for sale once I finish the car and have the cash for a Griggs heat extractor hood.

The interior is pretty much gone, but I want to get a cage and some fiberglass buckets for my car (silver state classic here I come), so my decent condition tan leather interior is available if it's sale will raise enough cash to make me cage it.
