Help me identify this 1990 SSP Notchback

I just picked up a 1990 SSP Notchback, it has all the SSP stuff. The second buck tag says Augusta... would that be Augusta, GA possibly used by the Augusta police? I got it in Atlanta, GA. Does anyone have more info on these cars or a good source for info? I would like to trace the vehicle's history

You'll need to decode the BUCK tag. I'd tell you exactly how but it's been 8 years since i did mine. All the info is on this site Welcome to the SSP Mustang Page!

Whats the best way to get to the buck tag? Do you suggest pulling it off to read it then outting it back?

Mine was actually held on by a self tapping screw. Some of them are stapled on. I had to take mine out to read them because there were two and i couldn't make out the one on bottom. You might not have a choice but to take it off.
