I just recently put new KYB Struts and shocks along with a complete energy suspension polyurethane kit on a 98 mustang gt convertible. When I finished up the mustang looks like it has had a 3 inch lift kit put on it. Talk about fender gap, wow what is wrong. I checked the springs and they are all in the perches. I dont understand what could be holding this car up in the air that high. I need help, this car looks terrible. Thanks in advance.

Sorry, no pictures, but this car looks like it could go four wheeling.

Just a theory but your previous shocks might have been blown, making your car sag. Now with the new shocks, your ride height is back to stock, making it look like a 4x4.
Now get some lowering springs.

I bet your new isolators are thicker than the stock ones. Are you using stock springs? (if so... why?)

Its nothing to do with your shocks.

I have to agree the shock cant affect your ride hight. were your stock isolators bad? if it bothers you that much you could just put the stock isolators back in until you get lowering springs.
