HELP!! my stang is sick

Ok need some mechanical advice from someone who knows their stuff.

First I am having problems with my tranny; I think it is the clutch. At times it wont go into reverse, in order to put it in revers I have to put it in first and roll forward a tad then it will slip right into reverse with no problem. I am also havening problems with hitting third gear. There is a bit knock at times to get it into 3rd. My clutch is also slipping as well; The car has 65,000 on stock clutch. Is it the clutch giving me the problems or something else?

Second I am still having problems with a hic-up in the engine. When idling u can feel the engine running a bit ruff, seems to be missing here and there. Once in a while, not to often though, when going down the interstate the engin will cut out when accelerating a generous amount. I have changed the plugs and wires and still seem to have this problem. What could this problem be?

The reverse problem is normal. I shift into 5th first and normally that will let me get into reverse. Otherwise, rolling in 1st works.

THe prob with reverse is normal. I have to do that too.

How do you know the clutch is slipping? What is it doing? 65,000 is not too much on the clutch. I have 107k on mine and no probs.

The engine miss could be a number of things. Fuel filter, low grade gas, fuel injector clogged. Try some injector cleaner and see if that helps. I would change the fuel filter since they are supposed to be changed at about 75K.
