OK the my builder was finishing up my motor today and I have a 6 bolt flywheel and need an 8. Where can I get one and does it make a difference if its for and auto or manual? It was supposed to be done to day and now I need this part ASAP!
It does make a difference for an auto versus a manual. On an auto, the torque converter bolts to it, and on a manual, it's what the clutch grips onto. I bought one for my car at Autozone, and they had one right in the store. Most local places should carry one, and if not , you could always go to the stealership.
dealership will ask for 227.00 out the door...JUST CRABED ONE 4 days ago. you can order and AFTERMARKET from mustangtunning/american muscle but the run289.00---389.00, The make a differnce if your redoing your clutch, since mine had a lot a heat spots on it.
