Help someone. 2001 Gt, new fuel pump good fuses and good pump. Getting a prime noise from pump but no fuel being sent out of tank to fuel filter. I installed the new pump just as the old factory was removed. My thing is now with good pump still no fuel pressure. Help
Did you get the type of replacement fuel pump where you have to wire/splice in the new pump? Is it possible it has been wired backwards? This will make the pump run backwards. It makes noise but doesn't move any fuel.
Try this. Disconnect the fuel filter. Put a short piece of hose on the fuel filter nipple. Direct any fuel into a suitable container. Cycle the key on/pause/off several times. Did ANYTHING come out?
