I made a post earlier about an electrical prob with my car not starting just cranking, well I checked and I have no fuel pressure....... I went to the trunk and undid that little harness and had a friend crank while I used one of those elcetrical lights to see if it was getting power but I didnt get anything.....I dont know if I did it right or even in the right spot, or if my fuel pump is just shot......Is there a fuse or anything for the signal to the fuel pump?
Help no fuel....

So your saying you have no power to your inertia switch? If not, go through all your fuses with a test light, the ones' under the hood too. Check for unplugged wires. Plug the inertia switch back in, make sure the button is pushed down. If your not getting power to that switch, its most likely electrical.

First put your ear near the fuel tank and listen for the pump coming on when the ignition is turned on. If NO there is a fuse for the fuel pump which might be blown and there is also a emerg fuel shutoff switch on the left side of the trunk, behind the side carpet panel. There will be a red button, it should be down. good luck
You don't need to pull the fuses to test them. Just ground your test light or voltmeter and just touch the point to both sides of the fuse. On the top of the fuses there is a little metal tab, so you DON'T have to pull them out to test them. The inertia switch is on the left side of the trunk behind the panel. Unplug it, and put your testing device in either side of the male plug (the one you plug into the inertia switch). With the ignition in the "ON" position you should see around 12volts for all fuses and the plug. Check your owners manual, it will tell you what fuses control the fuel pump. I believe there is one under the dash, and one under the hood in the distribution box. I hope this helps, good luck.

You do not need to pull fuses to check them just put your test light to both metal tabs on top of the fuse and make sure you have power on both sides. the fuel pump fuse get energized when the ignition is ON so make sure your testing with the power ON.

The harness in the trunk is the one I tried and the bulb didnt light at all......what does that mean...mabye I did it wrong....I tried the end that looks like it leads into the drivers side tailight, and the one that that plugs into....
The inertia switch is in plain sight on the driver's side if you remove that carpet panel in the trunk. That is the plug you must test. Unplug it from the bottom of the block with the big red button on it. Place your pointer in both sides of the plug with the wire on it. If no power, than you prolly have a blown fuse. If you have an owner's manual, it will tell you what fuse is for the pump.
Now I also see the ac is tied into that ccrm by the overflow...and my ac isnt working....seems like that could be the culprit of them all, but would they all break at different times in the same part? and why can u buy just the relay for 10 bucks....do you put it in the module? so I guess it comes apart?.......
