A lot of people like the Shelby ones. I have a set of Sparcos I haven't actually installed... waiting for me to make up my mind on a hood.

I just ordered the Shelby hood pins a few days ago. The ones on the Shelby site have "Shelby" on them which I didn't want being I don't have a Shelby. On eBay they have several sets of the Shelby kit minus the name. These are the ones that emay just installed on his car I like how they have the recess for the pin to sit in.

I think these may be the same as the ones on ebay. I am thinking about doing these without the cables though, I am guessing that they are not necessary, right?

I don't see Shelby stamped on them which is a plus for me also. They must be pretty similar though since the link for instructions they provide brings you to Shelby directions.

I did see Shelby offers 2 different sets. The ones like I got are $105 and the other set I believe are $65? They are the FRPP ones and have a plain/flat hood plate.
I don't see why you'd need the cables if you mount them so the pins are left to right across the hood.

shelby also has the ones that are identical to the ones that are used on the shelby GT (the billet ones) but they dont have the shelby logo. and they have the flat stainless FRPP ones

the ones that say SHELBY are 104.95 the same exact pins with the name are 94.95.

Are you going to use the lanyards or just leave the pins as is in the pics? I got the same ones and should be here soon

No lanyards, black shows way too much as is and I've seen the coated lanyards leave some pretty nasty marks on other colored stangs..

I'd like to, but I don't want the worry.

I wasn't planning on using them either with that top plate having the recess that will help hold the pin in place
