HELP PLEASE!!!!

i just got my mac h-pipe (catless), and it is really really loud. i was wondering how many chambers the stock mufflers are, and if it is safe to trade out my flows for a friends 99 stock mufflers to tone it down a little bit.....my only other option besided buying new mufflers is to put back on the stock h but i dont want to loose the performance gains.....suggestions please!

also, does anyone know how much it will tone it down by after i put stocks back on?

well stock will tone down quite a bit from flows. I go to mustangexhaust.com and see fi they have any stock clips with o/r pipe. it would be too quite for me but that doesnt' mean you would not like it.

I would suggest diffenerent mufflers then sell the flows. It really just depends on your taste. check out ebay you may find some used stainless mufflers or something.

You could try putting in some Borla Super Turbos (not Borla Stingers). I'm running super turbos with my set-up and it is quite tame at idle and cruising(hardly no drone). My cousing has an american thunder catback on his 95 GT with a stock midpipe and it louder than mine, so I could just imagine what yours sounds like with an offroad H.

i had BBK OR X with Magnaflow.
as you can see you no longer see BBK X on my sig. they were sooo loud.
