Help!!!Should I be able to push the Clutch Fork back by hand ?

I really need to know, because I just replaced my clutch and I cant even move the fork when I try to push it with my hand ???

unless you go by Dorian, then you are fine. it should not really budge by hand. if it did, you would have problems.

Alright cool... I'm outside at 2:30 in the morning trying to push the Fork back and it didnt move....Man you should have heard my potty mouth, the whole block did

no problem. i would not have known for sure, had i not played with it while dialing the freeplay out of my cable.
but your thinking was good - on my eclipse, i can push the fork pretty decently (all those hours at the gym, i guess). ahh, the difference between a real AMERICAN car vs a toy car.

Thats what I was comparing it to....my girls '93 Tercel. I can push it back like butter, so I was thinking something was wrong with my clutch in the stang.
