I decided that since my car isnt running I should get it everything else set on it. I did the fan switch mod to cool me down and I can hear the relay click on but the fan isnt coming on. I hot wired the fan and it works so i know that isnt the problem. I tried several ways of hooking it to the switch and non worked. I tried running a 12 guage wire from the #17 on the ccrm to the switch along with grounding the switch and hooking it up to the battery...all I got was the relay coming on. I tried just leaving the ground and the wire from the ccrm and taking off the power wire(That is what the directions said but I didnt think that sounded right) and got nothing. I dont know how else to hook this POS up....

Well after all the overwhelming responses (sarcasm) I figured it out....lol....I hooked everything up the same way I had 10 times before but now it works...just on and off..If you till the switch one way or the other it shuts off...so It will work for now....The only problem now is my horn and keyless entry are much quiter like one of the horns is broke or something...is it possible to blow a fuse for just one horn? dont we have 2?

Yes, they are both together in the driver side fender. And no, there should not be but only one fuse for both if the horns are even fused directly.

to tap the 17... DO NOT run power.

just run a wire from the ccrm to the switch and run the switch to a chassis ground.

there is no power needed. this will work just fine
