Last night in the sub-freezing temperatures I installed my C&L Intake Plenum/Accufab 75mm TB combo. Now I can't go WOT cuz a vacuum hose is in the path of the throttle cable. What can I do?
i got this tip from another thread...just take a few washers and put em up on the throttle cable link assembly (or whatever it's called). That'll hold it up higher, therefore move the throttle cable higher, and give you just enough clearance to get past that hose
That's what I did. I put 3 washers under the bracket per bolt & it's fine now. Great gains. A very highly recommended mod. I can smoke tires all the way through 2nd gear w/ the 4.10s.
