Help with a trouble code

the check engine light came this afternoon. i checked the code and it's P0456. Anyone have any ideas what it is?

the car is running fine and the gauges look normal. I just filled it up with gas this morning so i thought it might have been a gas cap issue. I tightened it then I took it off completely and put it back on. I was hoping that was the issue.

Yes, it's a small evap leak. Most commonly the gas cap is loose. I just had to fix my girl's car. I just tightened the gas cap, cleared the code, and it hasn't come back since.

thanks. i'll clear the code. I just wanted to make sure it wasn't anything serious before i cleared it.

DTC code 455

I too have just got a code 455 on my 2006 Saleen , it shows Evap control system gross leak. I have re-set the code but am concerned about where how this leak would have occurred. Any thoughts and where should I look?

check seal around top of gas tank.remove rear seat and see if there is any dust stuck to the seals.that was my problem.tightened and fine.

a "very small leak" DTC is normally a vac. line or vent tube leak. if its a "gross leak" then its a gas cap

like stated before check the cap seal for debris or dirt. also you may need a new cap of it leaks.
